Caitlin DeLaRosa

I am a recent Nottingham Trent University BA (Hons) Costume Design and Making graduate who specializes in millinery, embellishment, and textile work. Throughout my time as a student from foundation to university, I have completed a multitude of practical and theoretical projects within film, theatre, and fashion spaces. I have pushed myself to expand my skill set in my design and construction practice.

I am most passionate about the fine details of costumes that create rich textures and movement. I have practical-making skills in embroidery, goldwork, and beading. I am also well-experienced in breaking down, mending, and repurposing. Outside of my costume work, I am a textile artist who creates work around environmentalism, feminism, and personal identity.
